Lawn Maintenance

There is more to lawn maintenance than simple trimming and mowing. Your lawn will survive on that, but eventually it is going to demand a little more care and attention. To keep your lawn looking lush with greenery, it needs to be maintained properly. There are several steps involved in this. When people research for lawn maintenance tips they realize just how much work is involved.

Most people generally do not have the time or the patience to look after their lawns outside of mowing it and watering them. Of course, in these busy times, it is best you do something more worthwhile and leave the rest to us.

Macros Lawn Service has been taking care of lawns and maintaining them in Tigrett and the surrounding towns of Dyersburg, Humboldt, Brownsville, Jackson, Union City and Martin. Our clients have been entrusting us with lawn care maintenance for many years now.

We also offer our services in Covington, Blytheville Atoka and Kennett. Our experience with lawn care has made us a trusted brand here. Over the years, we’ve learned all the tricks of the trade and now ensuring that the grass remains green and healthy is almost second nature to us.

Comprehensive Lawn Maintenance

Our lawn maintenance service doesn’t just involve mowing your lawns and ensuring they’re watered enough to keep the grass green. That is part of our service but we’ve been much more thorough in ensuring the overall health of your lawn. We provide the following services.

  • Mowing: Grass needs to be maintained at an ideal length to ensure that it remains healthy. It is ideal to keep the grass height at 3 to 4 inches. We also leave the cut grass on the ground as it provides nutrition to the microbes in the ground and acts like fertilizer.

  • Edging: A lawn mower doesn’t really reach the edges of the lawn that is close to the retaining wall or the pavement. In order to trim the grass along these areas, we need to use the string trimmer to cut it. Allowing the grass to grow unchecked along the edges can invite bugs and the grass can spill over onto the pavements.

  • Fertilizing: Your lawn needs to be fertilized periodically. We know when to fertilize the lawn after taking care of it for a while. We generally give the soil seven varieties of treatments in a year. This ensures that the lawn remains green and healthy.

  • Overseeding: Even when the lawn looks green and healthy, we regularly spread a layer of grass seed over the grass. Turf grass generally has a short life and overseeding ensures the lawn is always green.

Aside from the above, our lawn maintenance contract offers liming, aeration, dethatching, application of compost, pre and post-emergent weed control, disease and insect control and winterization.
